The name 'Thrifty' was adopted from 'Thrifty Discount Muffler' which was in business on the property from 1980 - 2007. In 2009, Jeff Decker created Thrifty Car Care Center on the old Thrifty Discount Muffler property.

In March of 2015, the managing interest of Thrifty Car Care Center was sold to brothers Jason and Aaron Eich. Our mission today is the same as when as when Jeff started the business in 2009 - To provide honest and affordable automobile repair services to the Evansville area. Thrifty's management and employees are committed to treating customers like they are valued friends and family.
